“This event serves as a platform for honoring the exceptional achievements of cooperatives and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within our province, as well as to motivate them to go even higher and excel. We hold in high regard the innovative spirit and unwavering dedication of our fellow Bataeños,” Governor Joet Garcia said in his speech during the 2023 Galing! Bataan Awards held yesterday, October 26, at the Bataan People’s Center.

The Galing! Bataan Awards recognizes the contribution of MSMEs and Cooperatives to Bataan’s economic growth, enabled through SP Ordinance No. 2 Series of 2016, which established this recognition system. “Hindi matatawaran ang kontribusyon ng mga kooperatiba at MSMEs sa pag-angat ng buong Lalawigan ng Bataan,” Provincial Cooperative and Enterprise Development Office head Ms. Ludivina Banzon highlighted in her speech.

A total of 425 cooperatives and 85 MSMEs attended said program, wherein awards were given to the following:
